Guitar Lessons
Chris took me to the next level of playing. You come to Chris to learn music - not just guitar. His approach to focus on harmony and composition gave my improvisations purpose and unlocked me. I highly recommend him as an intermediate guitar player, but probably could have saved years of study and practice if I went to him when I was much younger. If you really want to know what it’s like to study with him, watch a video of him performing live. The face tells it all. He has a passion and joy while playing music that is infectious. He brings that passion and joy to every lesson. If you are in NYC area and can afford the best, jump at the chance to study with him in person. One positive thing about Covid is that he now does online lessons too so living in NYC is optional.

Guitar Lessons
I have been going to Chris for lessons for about about a year and a half now. I was initially nervous starting to play guitar but right off the bat, Chris made me feel comfortable. He is very down to earth, understanding, and very knowledgeable about music theory, playing technique, recording music among other things. Chris is an extremely handy resource for all things music. I have improved a lot in playing since going to him and playing music has become such an enjoyable hobby for me. Chris is always very responsive to questions and can help with so many aspects of the music learning journey. If you are looking to start out playing guitar or even master your skills, I would highly recommend Chris. He is professional and enthusiastic, and will without a doubt help you get to where you want to go.

Guitar Lessons
I’m a beginner who got stuck attempting to learn from YouTube videos. Chris has helped me with my technique but more importantly is teaching me about actual music theory. I look forward to each lesson and practicing in between is more fun now because I feel challenged but not overwhelmed. Highly recommended!

Guitar Lessons
Working with Chris over the last few months has been very transformational for me. I started as a complete beginner at the guitar and having him guide me through both music theory as well as technique has helped me to see significant results already not just on my technique, but with my knowledge of music theory and music production/songwriting as well. He is incredibly knowledgeable and patient and makes learning engaging.
