- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Some projects are priced on a quote basis, others on an hourly rate. It all depends on the type and scope of work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with a conversation to determine the scope of work and get feel for my clients priorities. It’s best to have some inspiration pics of the elements you would like incorporated, and a few shots of the place in your home where it will live. Helpful but not necessary- is a sketch of the dimensions. After we’ve discussed, and I’ve visited for a measure up I will do a 3d model of the piece we discussed and fine tune the design from there. Then fabricate it and install it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spent my whole working life developing creative solutions to complex problems, while picking up the craft from some great mentors.
