Exactly as promised, she delivered. She was flexible and really smart about what we took. Good advice on prep (location of easy/affordable hair and makeup in the neighborhood) and made sure we got good shots. I've already received compliments on my updated pictures. Will use again.

First time doing a photoshoot and I have to say, Laura is the most sweetest and kindest person I have ever met. She was very responsive to my messages prior to meeting and made me feel so relaxed during the actual photoshoot. She made sure to give me time to adjust my poses and face expressions and did her best to make my photos come out beautiful (the photos were 100/100!!!) Professional, friendly, laid-back and she also gave tips on modeling which I really appreciate. The photos came out exactly what I wanted them to be! I will definitely be going back for future photos. 1000000% recommend! Thank you again Laura!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discovery is huge! I like to spend time either on the phone, email or text to get a clear idea of any specific requests or vision that the customer may have about the shoot. I believe that the best photos come from a genuine connection and a good feeling of collaboration.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied photography at The New School and School of Visual Arts. I have also accumulated thousands of hours watching videos on YouTube. Living in New York is also a great place to be able to regularly attend workshops at Adorama and photography trade shows. I have to say that my best teacher has been experience working with hundreds of different types of clients.
