I first tried Reflexology with Deborah about 2 years ago, and now I am hooked! I have found it very therapeutic in helping with several health problems I've had, including stomach ulcers, hormone imbalances, and sinus congestion. Reflexology is a great way to de-stress as well. Deborah does a great job listening to my concerns and applying the right methods to help my individual needs. Who doesn't enjoy a foot rub, right? Reflexology goes way beyond that, with pressure applied to specific areas on the feet to help with overall health and specific health needs. The level of pressure can be adjusted for each person, but if you notice an area that is more tender, it is most likely an area that needs help. I've also had sessions with Deborah for Reiki and Hypnosis. Wow...talk about feeling calmer than I ever remember feeling! With Reiki, you lay down on your back with your eyes closed, fully clothed, and she uses her hands to "hover" a few inches above different areas of the body (yes, I peeked). You feel a sense of calm and warmth over these areas. All you have to do is just lay there, relax, and take in the healing that Deborah gives through Reiki. Hypnosis seems to work well for me too. Anything to shut up the constant thoughts going through my mind! Deborah has a soothing voice and has helped me discover how a quieter mind helps the body not be in constant "fight or flight" mode. Since busy city life can get to all of us, I definitely recommend hypnosis to re-train your brain and subconscious. Deborah gave me pointers to allow me to do self-hypnosis on my own between appointments, and I have found this to be very beneficial. For all of these treatments, I recommend closing your eyes and allowing your body and mind to receive healing. I am always amazed at how quickly a one-hour session passes by. I definitely look forward to my next session with Deborah!
