- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer 3 different packages for pricing. 1- Entire home package/ hourly rate 2-Per room design/ flat fee 3-A la carte/ hourly rate I always apply my trade discounts without a markup, which saves my clients a considerable amount of money. I am 100% transparent with all of my pricing and purchases.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For my new customers the first thing they will recieve is a questionnaire to get a general sense of the project, their likes and dislikes along with a brief history about working with a designer. The next step is identifying which package is right for them. I like to see the space and go through the project followed by a brief discussion about my clients goals. After we identify the best plan of action I can give my clients an assesment of how much time it will take me to deliver their needs, and I can give them an accurate quote. I will provide my clients with a furniture and accessories list for each room and ask them to check off what they need and a budget for each item. I encourage my clients to give me as many visual ques as they can so I get a real sense of their style and feel for what they want. After reviewing the above and careful consideration I begin my designs. I give my clients floor plans, elevations and 3D renderings along with samples and custom furniture designs. When the drawings are approved and the items are selected orders are placed with my trade discount. Deliveries and shipping methods are scheduled. I am available to accept shipping and check items if needed, per the direction of each client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of New York School of Interior Design, during my studies I worked as a senior project manager at Redi Construction in New York. I learned how to manage client expectaions, delegate tasks, oversee subcontractors and be a team player. Other skills I developed were managing a team and to make sure that projects were completed to company standards. I have a background in art and fashion. I have worked for celebrities, models, artists and global brands on photo shoots, films, music videos and commercials. My expeirence in this field has not only trained my eye and aesthitic, it has also allowed me to deliver a high standard of professionalism and accountability for my clients.
