I could not have been more pleased. Raymond was very proficient and flexible, despite the fact that the job proved much bigger than expected (the replacement chandelier, which I'd bought years ago without ever opening the box, turned out not to be standard as I had described it but weighty and highly ornamented). We negotiated a new price based on what amounted to hours of work instead of a minor installation and I found him reasonable and willing to work things out to our mutual satisfaction. In addition, the site of the installation in my prewar apartment was wired more for gas than electric. Raymond rose to the challenge in all respects. The final result was stunning and done according to all my specifications. I also found him charming and easy to be around. I would absolutely recommend him.

Custom wiring and lighting installation. Foreman assessed layout, wrote a materials list, and made a plan to complete the work in one visit - according to our schedule. He arrived on time with his crew and did just that. They took extra care to make sure everything was done right so the design came out better than the original drawings. Now we're planning another job with this company.

It is my pleasure to share my experience with Ray! After consulting with several other candidates to implement recessive lighting in my home, I knew instantly that Ray would carry out my exact vision. Not only is he beyond affordable but his professionalism and attention to detail is impeccable. He was profoundly knowledagble on lighting, wiring and the architectural complexities we may encounter. He cleaned up nicely and even made follow up visits to make sure we were both satisfied with the concluding results. Ray was flexible with my schedule and just such a well rounded individual! .. Great pick!!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We have a pricing template, with standard pricing per task. This tool allows us to give accurate estimates, for labor and materials, down to the screw.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I wish to build a strong rapport with every customer. Communication is key in any relationship, and our work speaks for itself.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My grandfather Raymond F. Marrow, retired as an electrician with Con Edison. I started my electrical career as a kid, working side jobs with him. I knew I would become an electrician at about 12 years of age.
