Introduction: Kim Brown Irvis is presently a freelance art director at KBI Design Group, where she can establish a lead in creative art direction and increase brand awareness. Previous Floridian positions were as a senior art director at Creative Impact Communications and as an art director at GO&A Marketing Communications. Kim is a highly creative, award-winning art director/designer, experienced with corporate identity, packaging, all print collateral, magazines, trade show development and advertising. Kim has a special emphasis on conceptual design and communication goals, and she pays attention to detail. She is a dynamic team player with well-developed communication abilities and experience in business development. As a freelancer, her clients include New York State Co-op Development, College Connections, Queens Council for Social Welfare, Playskool, Citibank, PACE Center for Girls, Tempus Software, and Focus Media, Inc. She has won several design awards, including both a gold and a silver Addy Award, an Image Award of Distinction, Graphic Design USA awards for five issues of the College Board Review, and American In-House Design awards. Recently, Kim published photography in Traditional Home Magazine and designed and photographed several calendars. She was featured in the January 2005 issue of Graphic Design USA as 'People to Watch' in 2005. She holds a B.F.A. in communications design from Pratt Institute and a 3-year certificate in advertising design and photography from Pratt-Phoenix, now called, Pratt Manhattan Center.
