Yisi is a great teacher! She made the classes fun and interesting, I always felt like I learned a lot and she kept me motivated to keep learning. She is efficient, fun and great at bridging the gap between Chinese and English, making it easy to learn. Yisi was very attentive to my lack of understanding. We began by learning single words that I wanted to know so as to get around town easily. From there she taught me the Pinyin form of Chinese, the tones, and proper sentence structures. I learned quite a lot in the short time in which she was my teacher. It has been much easier for me to get around now knowing how to ask for and direct a taxi to where I wish to go, ask for the bill or the toilet in a restaurant, change large notes for smaller notes at the bank, etc. I would recommend Yisi to anyone interested in learning the Chinese Language in a heartbeat! She is very personable, quite compassionate and has a great sense of humour. Yisi's English command is native proficient which makes her lessons even better. So I would say that you need to look no further. You won’t regret it! Cheers!

yisi is passionate about her job and patient with her students. Her class was fun and cheerful. A multi-national cultural and educational background makes her understanding and inclusive. She is outgoing and optimistic so I’m sure she can get along with students with different personalities.
