FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I am a New York State Licensed and Nationally certified massage therapist, offering skilled therapeutic muscular and fascial bodywork to people seeking chronic or acute pain relief, relaxation, increased flexibility, or overall well-being. I graduated from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in New York City, and am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I have extensive bodywork experience and have treated over a thousand clients. My work is client-centered, and my treatments are created to meet my clients specific goals. A thorough health history and consultation is done before the first session, free of charge, in order to figure out how to proceed with a personalized treatment plan. My massage work is conveniently located in the middle of Manhattan (in the Gramercy / Stuyvesant / Union Square area). In addition, I offer client-specific exercises and stretches that can be performed in between sessions in order to maximize the therapeutic effects of the treatment.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Everyone can benefit from therapeutic massage. If you are working long hours at a desk, on your feet all day, experiencing fatigue, carrying heavy bags, raising children, training for a marathon, suffering from a past injury, recovering from a recent injury, suffering from chronic pain or illness, experiencing muscle tension or stiffness, headaches, anxiety, gastrointestinal dysfunction, circulatory problems, or are just not feeling your best, massage therapy can make a difference. Massage therapy is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. I work with each client individually to develop a custom program for their needs. So, whats in it for you?
