About this pro
I'm a Santa Monica based, agency-approved photographer, specializing in portraiture, lifestyle, fashion, and fine art. You can check out more of my work at forrestleophotos.com, or instagram.com/forrestleophotos I love photographing people. Faces fascinate me, and I love the way bodies move. I think everyone is uniquely beautiful, and each photo preserves a little bit of that person. I'm especially inspired by old Hollywood portraits, and the fashion work of Richard Avedon, Lillian Bassman, and Herb Ritts.
Customers rated this pro highly for work quality, value, and punctuality.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing varies upon project, but it will always be reasonable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to work as collaboratively as possible. I want you to have as much a say in how your photos turn out as I do. I feel like the best work happens when photographer and client are completely on the same page, and work together to make great photos. After you give me the overview of the project, I'll ask for images that inspire you, that give the flavor of the shoot you're hoping to put together. After you send me those, we'll talk about the specifics of our time together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I picked up a camera in high school (about a decade ago) and have been shooting continuously ever since. I actually went to theatre school, and got my first professional photography work taking pictures of stage plays. This made me really fall in love with capturing moments in time -- the poise of an extended body or the moment of thought before speech.
