FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees and rates will be discussed in greater detail during the introductory meeting. Students may choose from several available plans, including monthly enrollment or packages of 5, 10, or 20 lessons (larger lesson packages are offered at reduced rates per lesson). A minimum commitment of three months is required. Lessons may take place either at the studio or in the student’s home, with an additional $20 travel fee for in-home lessons. Introductory lessons are offered at a rate of $50.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I appreciate your interest in joining my studio! First, an introductory lesson will be offered to review aspects such as the student’s level, behavior, skills, personality, and more. It is also an opportunity for the student to ask questions and learn about my teaching philosophy. These aspects are taken into consideration to determine the best approach for the new student, including materials, scheduling, and methodology. Afterward, the student will receive a studio policies form to review (or, in the case of minors, for parents to review), a studio schedule for arranging lessons, and any related documents. Lessons will then proceed on a weekly basis for the duration you choose from the available options.
