Introduction
Hello!
My name is Joshua Bieber, I am a NYC based pianist and composer with a bachelor's degree in piano performance from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. I have over 19 years experience playing music, more than 10 of which, playing piano, as well as 3 years experience teaching.
My teaching style is goal oriented and places an emphasis on what you want to learn. I tailor my curriculum to the interests of each student as I believe that the most effective learning occurs when the student is given control over their education. Although I specialize in jazz piano and improvisation, I can teach a variety of playing styles ranging from pop, to blues, to classical. All ages and levels are welcome!
