Introduction: Hi! I'm Milan. I'm a 35 year old pianist, conductor and teacher with 15+ years of experience working with children, young adults and even conservatory students. I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my passion with over 100 students so far.
I've received my early training in some of the best schools and conservatories in Eastern Europe starting at age 5 and my MFA in piano performance from Mannes School of Music in New York. Check out my website for more info!
I work in NYC, mostly Manhattan and Brooklyn. I offer structured semesters with live student performances in December and June.

My kids have been taking piano lessons with Milan for over year. He is extremely patient with young children and they very much enjoy the lessons with him. He is excellent with the fundamentals of classical piano and layers in some basic music theory in a fun and engaging way.

Milan has been working with my 8 year old for 9 months mostly through remote sessions during the pandemic. Despite the switch to remote learning, Milan has been able to remain engaging and supportive. He is patient when she struggles and pushes her just enough to make sure she is continuing to improve in her practice. I would highly recommend Milan!

Milan has been a great piano teacher for my 8-year-old! He had gotten into a rut with a prior teacher, and Milan was able to help him get to a place where he enjoys playing and learning again. Milan asks a good amount of him but also understands how to work with kids -- when to back off, how to work with kids' emotions, etc. I highly recommend him!
