About
I am an accomplished performer and Steinway Partnered piano teacher who has been teaching students of all levels for the past 10 years. Some of my students have won competitions like the NY Prodigy International Music Competition, performed at Carnegie hall, and have been accepted into programs at Manhattan school of music. As a Steinway partnered teacher, I am able to provide my students with meaningful performance opportunities that inspire consistent growth. I tailor lessons to each of my students based on their goals, skills, and interests. I encourage creativity while teaching discipline and consistency. My goal is always to bring out the best in my students, and instill a deep love for music and learning. I strongly believe that the lessons found in developing piano skills can be translated to any other discipline, and seek to enrich the lives of my students by showing them firsthand that with enough consistency and discipline, anything can be accomplished. I work closely with parents to ensure their child is thriving and enjoying the process as we work to accomplish long term goals.

Amazing experience. Nico is a very patient, understanding teacher for students of all levels, and very adaptable to the students’ needs. I’m an adult with piano basics already behind me, so we skipped straight to Bach, did some Chopin, and then even Rachmaninov about a year later. I have no doubt that he can deliver an excellent experience to students of any skill level or learning style
