Daniel Levine

I offer a well-rounded approach to learning musical ideas. I know that it is best to nurture the creative spark that compels us to play music, so I work with my students to find music that they want to play, while developing their skills. I offer lessons on piano, guitar, electric bass and trumpet. I also tutor in musical theory at the intermediate and beginner levels. Students are encouraged not only to practice, but to consider different musical ideas and open themselves to the world of sound. Many of my students go on to pursue instruments at technically advanced levels at schools like Julliard Prep. I have been playing and teaching music in New York professionally for 10 years. I studied jazz and classical performance and composition at the Manhattan School of Music, New England Conservatory, and the City College of New York.
