I could not recommend Jon enough. He showed up with a mobile studio complete with lighting, cameras and backdrop - set it up in my living room - and we were snapping shots in no time. He knew how to direct my poses and got my feedback after every few snaps. We ended up with some amazing head and full body shots, for a more than reasonable rate. On top of that he was friendly, polite and easy to work with. I will be recommending Jon to my friends from now on!

John accepted my project of capturing the special moment I proposed to my girlfriend. He accepted this project on CHRISTMAS DAY! He was very responsive and helpful, his work quality was above and beyond what I had expected. We also were able to do a photo session at his studio. He was the standard of professionalism and made me and my now fiancé extremely comfortable, which made the experience that much better. I received my professional photos with 48 hours and I was able to download them for connivence. I would recommend John to any one in the Kansas City area, would happily hire him again when in Kansas City again.

Jon created an amazing experience for my 1st ever photo shoot. He was very compassionate, patient, responsive, punctual and brought great energy to the shoot. I was so nervous but he assured me that I would enjoy myself and that I did. I have always felt like I wasn’t photogenic but after working with Jon and getting a sneak peek of the shots he took, I feel like a whole model! He really captured some beautiful moments from the shoot and I am so glad that I went with him. I’m super excited to get my pictures back so that I can show them off to everyone. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Due to Covid-19, I am offering varied discounts on services I offer. These will be discussed on a per service basis and will always aim to be a fair compromise for both talent and professional.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Thank you for sharing your interest in my work! All new customers will be contacted and communicated with thoroughly through the preparation stage of the session. We'll iron out as much detail as we can so that there is less stress on the day of the session. This can include mood boards, pinterest sharing, location scouting, etc. Your contact information for image delivery will be gathered after the session and I'll walk through my delivery process again in person. Your email will be registered when you view your new gallery, but will not be spammed with promotions and events throughout the year. All new customers receive a discount on their first order of physical prints.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In high school, I was apart of our E-Communcations program where we focused on all aspects of digital media including film, photography, visual broadcasting, graphic design, web design, and animation. I furthered my education through KU's film and media program until I started working as a studio photographer. My education from there was gained through work experience and mentorship.
