My process: 1) Connect via Thumbtack. 2) Discuss what you want and schedule a shoot date/time. 3) Shoots last between 30 - 60 mins. 4) Editing takes 2-3 business days. 5) You will get ALL quality photos in high resolution via online gallery. We hired Rachel for both our engagement photo shoot and as our wedding photographer. Before our engagement shoot, we had never done any kind of photo shoot but Rachel made us feel comfortable and directed us clearly on what we should be doing to get the most out of the shoot and our photos. Rachel was hilarious and ensured that the smiles and laughs in our photos were genuine and not awkwardly forced. We got a lot of wonderful photos and we posted some of them on our wedding website for our invited guests to see. They all loved them and some even asked for the contact information for the photographer. To top off our engagement shoot experience, Rachel even bought us Coffee afterwards, which was both unexpected and appreciated. For our actual wedding, which was about 7 months later, Rachel kept the same energy and delivered hundreds of beautiful photos. We had so much going on that day so it was nice not having to worry about whether or not Rachel would get the key shots of the wedding. From our getting ready shots to our final send off, Rachel acted with complete professionalism, but kept it fun and engaging so we never felt like the photo sessions were dragging on too long. She was also very patient with our crazy families, who had many requests for her, and she didnt shy away from their suggestions for photo locations/ideas, which they definitely appreciated. In all, we would definitely recommend using My Red Lens Photography for both regular photoshoots or any special event because you will be in good hands!

First of all, Rachel was FUN! We haven't had a lot of professional photos taken, but she quickly got us feeling comfortable and taught us the dos and don'ts. Both our engagement and wedding photos were spectacular, and we felt like we got a good value. Highly recommend!

Rachel was so kind and accommodating with our last minute location change! She made my fianc and I feel comfortable and gave us great direction. I loved the way the my engagement photos turned out and that she managed to pull some good shots out of my partner who is not a big fan of pictures. Definitely recommend!!
