May Zhee Lim

I have a lot of experience with learning languages (I know five!) and I read and write a lot. I've written a thesis in college, and I was also an avid writer of fiction, poetry, and plays. I can tutor with the goal of getting you the best grades in school, but I also want to instill a love of learning that will go much further than just the grades. I can help people who are learning English and/or Russian as a language, and those who need additional help with their English classes, whether it's writing that book report or getting an A on the next test. In high school, I took IB English HL and wrote my extended essay in English, and I got a six and A respectively. I also provide reading and writing lessons for every level because I believe that both these skills are perhaps the most important in life, and I want to help my students be the best reader/writer they can be!
