I have 5 years of math tutoring experience and scored a perfect 36 on the math section of the ACT and a perfect 51 on the math section of the GMAT. As a result, I attended the University of Pennsylvania as an undergrad, where I majored in mechanical engineering and later on attended the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where I obtained an MBA in economics. I love teaching math. In high school, I tutored middle school and high school students in algebra, geometry and trigonometry. In college, I tutored freshmen in calculus and high school students in SAT/ACT math. In the last 2 years, I tutored adults in GMAT and GRE math. In all cases, I have significantly raised my students' performance through tailored tutoring. My ability to teach math concepts in simple steps ingrains strong understanding of the underlying concepts in the students' minds that empowers students to then solve problems quickly and confidently on their own.
