About
With a command of biomechanics and acoustics of vocal production I aim to help students along a path toward functional, effortless and lasting technique. "Technique" can sound scary but I love helping students understand their voice so that they can clearly communicate as an artist! I am jazzed about a holistic approach to performing which is why I incorporate functional breathing and brain-body connection techniques into my sessions for deeper discovery.
Certifications & Areas of Study:

I’ve just started working with Philip but what I appreciate about him is that he helps me understand the technical nature of voice. His exercises are challenging but fun and he’s very supportive! Can’t wait to continue building with him and learning to make my Broadway dreams come true!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was frustrated for many years with my inability to understand my voice and to sing with freedom and ease. Once I discovered there was science based technique out there that can unlock the voice quickly I never stopped learning! I began with graduate studies at NYU in vocal pedagogy and vocology and continued on with voice science workshops and professional organizations. I’ve found freedom in my personal artistic expression and I love helping others find freedom too!
