Imran was immediately responsive to my urgent needs tied to an audit after my existing accountant failed. He stepped in, exceeded the timeline he committed to and got it done! I can only click 3 things "I liked working with Imran" about but would click all 5 if I could. Thank you again for the swift help Imran!
Imran Baig, CPA's reply

Working with Imran on my taxes was a great experience. I had recently moved after working for a company remotely, and was double taxed so I had a complicated return. He was quick to update, thorough, and helped to get me the most value.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price based on complexity, not a flat rate — because a straightforward W-2 return is a completely different job than someone with crypto, rental properties, foreign income, and an LLC. My base starts at $850 for a simple individual return, and I scope the work during a free discovery call so you know exactly what you're paying and why before we start.
No surprises. No awkward price changes halfway through. I walk you through the scope, the forms involved, and the fee — all upfront. If your situation turns out simpler than expected, I adjust down. I also offer payment plans for larger engagements and accept credit cards.
What you won't find here is bargain-bin pricing. You're paying for accuracy, thoroughness, and someone who actually fights for every dollar you shouldn't owe. I had a client get a notice from the IRS saying they owed $68,000. After I reviewed the case and responded, the final amount was $64. That's the kind of detail I put into every return.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a free discovery call. I want to hear your full picture...W-2s, side businesses, investments, crypto, rental properties, anything international. I ask the questions most CPAs skip because those details are where the real tax strategy lives.
After the call, I send you a clear scope and fee based on everything we discussed. Once you're on board, I set up a secure Dropbox folder for your documents and send you a personalized checklist — not a generic list, but one tailored to your specific situation. If you have crypto, I'll need exchange CSVs. If you received a gift from overseas, I'll flag Form 3520. If you have a rental, I'll request the right schedules.
From there, my team and I handle the preparation in Drake Tax, and I personally review every return before it goes out. I take a conservative, thorough approach; I want your return to be bulletproof. You'll get a walkthrough of the completed return before we file so you understand exactly what's happening with your money.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a licensed CPA, which means I passed one of the toughest professional exams in the country; four sections covering tax law, auditing, financial reporting, and regulation. I stay current with continuing education every year because the tax code changes constantly.
Beyond the credential, I've invested heavily in technology. I use AI-powered tools to analyze client situations, catch missed deductions, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Most CPAs are still working off handwritten notes from a phone call. I'm running systems that scan for every relevant form and flag complexity before we even start the return. It's the same effectiveness you'd get from a large firm like EY but with the personal attention of a boutique practice.
