FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the quality, planning, and editing that go into every shoot. Each session includes professional camera equipment, creative direction, and carefully edited images to ensure a polished final result. Packages vary depending on the type of shoot (portraits, engagements, events, brand content, etc.), location, and coverage time. I always try to work with clients to find a package that fits their vision and budget. For larger projects, events, or brand work, I can also offer custom packages and payment plans if needed. My goal is to deliver images that feel timeless, cinematic, and worth the investment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial Inquiry When a client reaches out, I start by learning about their vision and needs for the shoot. This usually includes: -Type of shoot (portrait, couples, event, brand, etc.) -Location and preferred date -Style or mood they’re going for -How the photos will be used (social media, website, personal memories, etc.) This helps me understand the project and recommend the best package for them. 2. Consultation & Planning Once I understand the basics, we discuss the creative direction and logistics of the shoot. During this stage, we may cover: 1) Location ideas 2) Outfit recommendations 3) Mood boards, or inspiration 4) Timing, and lighting 5) Shot list (if needed) My goal is to make sure the client feels confident and prepared before the shoot day. 3. Proposal, Agreement & Deposit After the consultation, I send a proposal with pricing and details of the shoot. To officially secure the booking: -A contract/agreement is signed -A non-refundable deposit (usually 30–50%) is required This ensures the date is reserved and both sides understand the expectations. 4. Pre-Shoot Preparation Before the shoot, I finalize all details so the session runs smoothly. This may include: -Confirming the schedule and location -Reviewing wardrobe and styling ideas -Preparing equipment and lighting, if needed -Reviewing the shot list or creative plan Clients are welcome to ask questions or share ideas during this stage. 5. Shoot Day On the day of the shoot, my focus is on creating a relaxed and professional environment so clients feel comfortable in front of the camera. During the session, I: -Guide posing and movement -Adjust lighting and composition -Capture a mix of candid and directed shots -Ensure we get a variety of images The goal is to capture natural, high-quality images that reflect the client’s personality or brand. 6. Editing & Post-Production After the shoot, I carefully select the best images and begin the editing process. Editing includes: -Color correction and cinematic color grading -Exposure and lighting adjustments -Skin retouching (when appropriate) -Cropping and final image polish This step ensures the final photos look professional and consistent with my style. 7. Image Delivery Final images are delivered through a private online gallery where clients can: -Download high-resolution photos -Share images easily -Delivery times typically range from a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the project. 8. Final Payment & Follow Up If there is a remaining balance, it is due before the final images are released. After delivery, I always follow up to make sure the client is happy with the results. Many of my clients come back for future shoots or refer others. Goal: My process is designed to be smooth, collaborative, and stress-free while delivering high-quality images that clients can be proud of.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over three years of professional photography experience and have spent hundreds of hours studying photography, lighting, editing, and visual storytelling. I regularly work with the Sony Alpha a7 IV and the 50mm 1.8 and 24-70mm 2.8 lenses, and I continually develop my skills in areas such as portrait photography, fashion/editorial imagery, and event coverage. Beyond technical skills, I focus heavily on composition, storytelling, and creative direction, which allows me to produce images that feel cinematic and polished rather than just standard photos.
