Sean McCann gave me an estimate through Thumbtack & as soon as I responded, he called to make an appointment with me. Of course, it was late on Friday, but he was willing to come on the weekend. Since my problem wasn't an emergency, I was fine to wait until Monday. I have a gas furnace in my garage that had quit working and also had a problem with my laundry room sink pvc drain piping after I had a new floor installed. The flooring guy had accidentally broken one of the pvc connections (due to a change in floor elevation), resulting in the drain piping needing to be completely redone. When Sean arrived, he went right to work on the furnace, did all the troubleshooting to find the broken part, and called his supplier to track down a new part. He then checked out the drain problem & determined what parts he would need for that. He made a trip to get the furnace parts as well as the pvc for the sink drain. When he returned, he repaired the furnace & re-did the pvc under the sink in a very short time. Very nice guy, personable, hard-working, and professional. I would definitely call him again. Thanks again, Sean!

Rick was awesome. Friendly, great communication before and during the scheduling of my project. He does a lot, from garage door repairs, to plumbing projects. He will definitely be in my contacts to call if I need more things done around my house that I can't do because I'm not a pro.

Overall, Ben was very professional, courteous and skilled in the work he performed while installing the humidifier to our forced-air heating. He always wore boot covers in our house to protect our floors, completed the work in the estimated time, and cleaned up his work area when he was done. He even replaced the drain line from our A/C condenser instead of just tying the humidifier drain into the mess that was there. In our case there was an unforeseeable issue that caused our furnace blower to run constantly, a condition we didn’t realize until a few days later. We e-mailed Ben and he immediately responded and tried to figure out the problem even though he was out of the country. It ended up requiring a return visit to resolve the problem by changing the method of wiring the humidifier to the furnace, but we still never figured out why the first method wouldn’t work; even Ben’s peers in the industry were stumped. Our only criticism is that Ben’s clarity of in-person communication was a struggle at times, specifically when we got into technical details of the problem where Ben has far more electrical knowledge than the average homeowner.
