Had my first lesson with Steve, and had a great experience. He was great about communicating and working around my crazy schedule. He helped identify my goals, and focused our lesson on exactly what we had discussed. He's an incredibly talented guitarist and teacher, and seems like a great guy. Highly suggest him!

Steve is truly a great teacher, I have come along way in the month I have been working with him. I highly recommend him and look forward to many more months of lessons. If you want to truly get better at guitar and understand music, he is the man you want to go too. Steve is also a great player as well with many years of teaching experience. I’ve played on and off for many years but never knew how to find the path to get where I wanted to be. The handful of instructors I saw weren’t much help, and most seemed like I was supposed to tell them what to teach me.
Steve brings a systematic method of teaching that has allowed me to see that I will eventually be able to play as I want to. After 6 weeks I’m discovering that the hardest part of practice is that Steve presents the material in a very musical context. Often I’ll be working the exercise and get drawn in by the way 2 chords interact with each other. Before I realize it, I’m lost for an an hour of blissful experimentation.
Looking forward to many more of those hours in the future!

Guitarlessons can be boring, but not with Steve. Steve's guitar playing its Eddie Van Halen's level and best of all is that he is very humble and a funny teacher. He will take his time to explain you note by note on the entire fretboard. I always have fun learning new scales, arpeggios, triads etc. with Steve. You will actually get exited every time a guitarlesson with him is coming up.
A guitar instructor that actually knows how to play pretty much anything on guitar, but if you are into Rock, Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Jazz and Jazz Fusion, you should definitely take guitarlessons with Steve.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are consistently within the same range or in many cases lower than those of professional music studios, and I travel to my students for convenient in-home sessions. I also discount further for any and all extended sessions booked over and above a one hour time frame.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each student is different and I assess each individual's goals, musical genre, strengths and weaknesses in order to customize a lesson plan that makes sense and will deliver true, measurable results within a reasonable time frame.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have thirty years of playing and teaching experience, twently of those years as a self employed, full time professional. I am also always working to further improve and advance myself as a player, so that I may be a more effective instructor and mentor.
