Jimmy and Albest is excellent! I hired him for a full tear off roof replacement, two skylight replacements, replacement gutters with leaf guards, and installation of front porch handrails (which he did free of charge). I found him to be incredibly transparent – sending many photos of the roof progress and providing clear information on issues that were laying under the old shingles (gappy boards, missing plywood planks, etc) and clear information on options and pricing along the way. I found his and his team’s work to be very through, cutting no corners, using high quality materials and the completed jobs looks beautiful. He showed careful attention to detail which is evident in the finished work product from well-contoured and anchored gutter downspouts connectors, clean new roof vents, installation of a new power vent, building in ridge vents, and with no messy tar anywhere. He is also a pleasure to deal with - no sales pressure from the beginning, fair pricing, and high integrity conduct and craftsmanship throughout the entire process, and thorough cleanup. Jimmy will be my trustworthy go-to-guy for any future contracting needs that I might have in the future.

Albest did a wonderful job repairing my roof. I had the owner Jimmy removed old shingles and wood and put down new plywood and shingles on my roof. They cleaned up the place all the debris was removed. The price was reasonable and the owner gave me his assurance that I would not have any issues with the new roof.

Jimmy did a fabulous job on my roof. He was able to schedule the work in short order, he arrived when promised, and efinished the work on time, leaving the work site cleaned and immaculate. Jimmy covered some incidental work but kept to his original estimate, so no surprises at payment time. His communication was responsive and Jimmy provided before, after, and in progress photos. Jimmy was a pleasure to do business with and I highly recommend him !

We were looking to have the roof and gutters redone on our home. After interviewing various contractors and getting several estimates, we were happy to have found AL Best Contracting who was doing a roofing job right across the street from our home. We had the opportunity to observe the job this crew was performing on our neighbor’s roof and we were amazed to see how hardworking, precise and skillful they were. The contractor from AL Best, immediately upon inspecting my home, thoroughly explained what he was going to do and gave me a very fair estimate which he delivered promptly and I was very confident at this point that this was a roofing company which I felt I could trust and would do a good job. The crew was available within a few weeks to start the job according to schedule. This respectful and highly skilled crew worked tirelessly throughout the timely completion of this project and their workmanship was excellent, going above and beyond our highest expectations.
