I’m pretty handy and I already identified that the pump in my washer was not working, I obviously don’t keep pump parts on hand, and changing the pump requires special tools. However the job is not complicated or extensive. A washer pump runs around 40-60 dollars, plus the labor. I had various people give me a quotes from 250$-500$. I don’t appreciate anyone trying to rip people off, his quote was very fair and he showed up immediately after I reached out. I will be using gentle again if I have another appliance break that I cannot fix myself.
