FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to listen and understand each client's story. I provide the support and resources needed to guide them through recovery. My goal is to education clients on how they can make empowered choices about their health.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two bachelor's degrees one in exercise physiology and the other in psychology. I have advanced training in anatomy and physiology, and I'm certified through the national strength and conditioning association as a certified strength and conditioning coach. I have over 16 years of experience as a massage therapist working with athletes and injuries. And I am currently working yoga teacher training at Open Sky.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I received my first massage during the middle of my college lacrosse season. I was astonished at the recovery my body felt after one session. It felt like I was in pre-season, before all the practices and games accumulated. This is how I became a believer in massage therapy and from then on I received a massage treatment at least once a month. I wanted to be able to help others the way my massage therapy helped me and that spurred me into becoming licensed.
