Introduction

I am a Private Voice and Piano instructor based in Roslyn Heights, Long Island. I work with students of all ages, but I specialize in working with younger students and adolescents as I have over 10 years experience in settings with children. I am a professional singer and have my Bachelors Degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy. I teach all Genres: Jazz, Pop, Classical, R&B, Rock, Soul, etc. The lessons I teach go beyond the classroom-I give my students tools they carry for the rest of their lives: confidence, strength, body language, stage presence, breathing, diversity, decision making, and much more. My passion for the arts is immense- and my calling is to spread it with the younger generations. I also have experience working with children and adults with special needs such as autism, apraxia, dyslexia, and ADHD.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
My voice instructor in college is the reason I began teaching. She completely changed the world of music for me, and along with growing my vocal abilities, also gifted me a love for teaching music. So much of what I know and how I teach is influenced by her. Sadly she is no longer with us, but her memory will always live on through every lesson I teach.
