Several years ago I had the good fortune of being introduced to Steven (Steve). Prior to meeting him, I had only several months before created a mentorship program, which targeted at risk-underserved public school students. The program subsequently went on to be honored by the esteem Upstate New York Stakeholders-National Points of Light Affiliate and GOBY Awards. iPressForward mentorship program was inspired by the auspices of the late Reverend Dr. Martion Luther King Jr's final speech "the Drum Majors Instinct," and several leadership tenants, which begins to introduce youth leadership wellness behaviors as a kind of population health-public school service initiative. As a seasoned and compassionate Servant Leader, Steve donated his time, sharing his life experiences, career work, and vision. Equally as inspiring Steve shared-collaborating the experience with his son, who joined him in his onsite visit to the school-FDR Elementary Middle School of Schenectady, New York. During Steve's visit not only did he inspire the young men and women of the iPressForward mentorship program but also, leading by example, he portrayed for his son the manner by which we All should serve as leaders. Steve's leadership and public speaking style inspires and shines a light on a way forward for all ages, and socioeconomic strata​. I submit this recommendation with absolute confidence. While I was District Training Manager for Guitar Center Inc, we hired Steve as a motivational / self-actualization speaker. He was incredibly engaging, and successfully got the attention and *spark* we needed out of a very jaded crowd of young musicians. Very happy with the results. The only thing that could have been better was; he seemed to have done a lot of research about his target market, and spoke to their interests well, but he may have gone a bit long.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    We really don't. We believe in our message and that it has been life changing for some of our clients. We try to work within reason with our clients budget and scope of our involvement.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We like to have a phone consult so that we can get feedback regarding a clearer purpose and audience demographics. Additionally, most are clients are new to hiring a speaker so we try to guide to ensure they look like a rock star!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a worthless degree in International Finance and countless hours of studying aerobatics, shark behavior, human nature etc. When you are in charge of motivating 12 Australian bobsledders knowing that only 6 will make the Olympics you get a Doctorate in Human Nature :)
