Matt Smith did a tremendous job for my family in a complicated situation. He went above and beyond: working with the manufacturer to secure parts under warranty and traveling to Brooklyn (from Jersey City) to get a part same day. Communication was good, and, as a non expert, the quality of the work seems high.
Our water heater stopped working. Instead of pushing me to simply replace it, he was proud and happy to actually fix it. It was more complicated that way, but he respected that I didn’t want it replaced when there was a better option.
While he was there, I had him fix two sink traps and a washing machine hook-up that were badly done DIY jobs by the former owner. That took care of an odor and horse fly problem we had.
I absolutely will use Matt again.

We hired Ark Sewer & Drain Services to fit a new under sink tankless RO system and replace our existing faucet with dual faucet for regular water and drinking water.
Matt from Ark was exactly on time and quietly went about his work with no fuss. He also realized that one of the parts in the new faucet had a leak, recommended the correct part to order and told us that he would return the next day to complete the job even though it was a very brief piece of work. He did not even take the full amount of money the first day and only took the full amount (+ a very well deserved tip which was still more reasonable than that the next best quote), the following day. The work was completed to our satisfaction and through the entire process Matt was professional, courteous and friendly.
I would 100% recommend hiring Matt and Ark for your plumbing needs!
