We hired Campbell Events for the planning of his and hers baby showers. Carissa and Campbell Events were amazing to work with-- they made the process so easy and seamless, and at a great value! We couldn't recommend them more highly, and we will definitely use them again in the future. We most appreciated their creative, detail-oriented planning including everything from theme to decorations to food to games-- truly a Pinterest worthy shower, thanks to Campbell Events!

I would NOT use or recommend Campbell events ever again. They charge you a big amount of money and buy cheap decorations to decorate your event and keep the profit for themselves. Example, they use tiny rocks in a plastic bag to hold the balloons down instead of the proper balloon weights and all the other decor seemed refurbished. I spent $700 and got stuff they also had to rent out. I would never recommend.

Hello Patricia, We are sorry that you had a bad experience with our company. As we talked about over the phone, some of the changes that had to be made were caused from the Weather and from the venue not being available for us to set up at the agreed upon time. As we discussed at the event, when we initially set the event up outside the large balloons were tied to the back fence and the walkway to the stairs so that they would not blow away. When it began to rain we had to breakdown all of the work that we did outside and reset inside, because the manager of the venue requested that we move. After we had set up inside, you requested that the balloons, which were now weighted down last minute for an indoor event, be moved outdoors. Because we were already 3 hours over the time that we had agreed upon, we were unable to undo the weights and tie them to the fence as the initial plan. Although we were contracted from 4-6pm, the event venue did not allow my staff to begin their set up until after 6pm because the restaurant was still open. Because of the changes from the weather, my staff stayed over 3 times the amount of time that you had contracted us for and three and a half hours later than the time you requested. We did not charge you for any of this additional labor because you were unhappy with the event outcome. We do use a rental company for linens and other supplies. This is an industry standard in many on and off site decorating, production, and catering companies in New York. We are sorry that you felt that you should be able to keep the linens and additional materials, but unfortunately we do not have the capacity to own and wash our own linens and materials. We do not profit off of the rental cost. We did not charge you for the breakdown aspect of your event, but still met at a location convenient to you to pick up the additional materials at no charge for travel. Our photo backdrop was returned damaged, which we also did not charge for because of your disappointment in the event. Overall we are sorry that you did not enjoy your decor or our services. We pride ourselves in creating events and memories that people enjoy. We are sorry that we fell short for this event. Unfortunately, plans need to change at times when venue and weather issues come into play. After discussing the event among the rest of our planning staff and speaking with you about the event outcome prior to this review, I hope that the large discount that we gave you on labor hours can remedy the situation.
