FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are not always firm, sometimes, the cost can be reduced ! In some instances, if you are able to be flexible with the time and day, we can sometimes line up jobs that are either closer or similar materials, and can issue discounts based on you being able to save us time and/or disposal costs We always like to pass along any potential savings to our customers ! Rest assured though if we agree to a price we will stick to it ( unless you were to add significantly to the original item list ) Something you left in the closet or found in the garage or under the bed will be no issue to us, we are OK with some incidentals - no worries. We don’t have any fees or surcharges or anything of the sort , we quote the job and that’s the price , we truly keep it that simple. Naturally it’s a bit more complex for us as we are guesstimating quantities and how long it will take us etc , but that’s our job !
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For smaller work I usually am able to give a quote through photos or videos. Which is very convenient for both myself and the customer. For larger projects, I prefer to look at them in person to gauge quantities and logistics etc I am usually able to accommodate most schedules, and I tend to work later hours then my peers which sometimes helps for folks that may work later or have a lot on their plate and are tight for time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I simply have 20+ years in this industry since I was young. My training would be my mistakes, whether it have misjudging quantities, size, or weight of an item. I also spent years as a consultant for a large disposal group in the northeast dealing with all different materials from trash to hazardous waste and shipping by truck, trailer, and rail. Due to financial constraints brought on by COVID, I left the larger corporate industry and have doubled down on what I know best and what I enjoy.
