Brandon is an amazing camera man, there isn’t a single doubt about that. The minute he started recording it was like we were completely in sync. He knew exactly what I wanted, and was able to come up with ideas and solutions to bring forth my vision in the best possible way! It was easy to tell he had years of expertise at his fingertips, and in comparison I probably looked like I had none; but he still treated me with respect and made it clear that I was always the one in charge which I really appreciated. Brandon went above and beyond expectation during filming and I couldn’t thank him enough for such a wonderful experience! I truly believe there was not a single other person I’d rather have behind the camera. It was post-filming during the video editing however, that I ran into a few issues. Trying to get him to talk to me about anything that still needed to be done was quite the challenge; but perhaps that’s just because I’m the chatty type and he’s more of a man of few words. (Which I can understand!) Even so, it was extremely difficult to get him to respond with any type of communication, which resulted in many set backs, delays, and nights of frustration. I often felt completely ignored and brushed off for “more important” clients seeing as how despite working with him first, he continued to finish other projects before getting back to me on mine. It also made me feel hesitant to give my opinion on any changes I felt needed to take place, in fear of coming off as a nuisance since he was clearly very busy. That being said, the end results made all the earlier trouble worth it! I can fully admit I wasn’t the easiest client to please, (pretty much a complete perfectionist!) but Brandon made sure to keep going until I was completely happy with the finished product. The journey may have been rocky, but in the end he did hold true to his word and made sure to deliver absolute perfection! He did an extraordinary job and I couldn't be more thrilled on how it all turned out. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a camera man, as his skill are unparalleled! You will definitely be left with something you are proud of and can watch again and again for years to come. :)

We had a pretty intensive job for our company site. We needed a corporate EPK to explain who we are, and we needed about 1000 products to be photographed. That went very well. It was a huge job and we kept adding material. Our original deadline drifted a bit but they were great about keeping us in the loop. We later hired them again to do interviews with clients and educators to enhance our website and newsletters. We were impressed with the cinematic look it all had, even the interviews. Definitely recommended!

Beware of fly-by-night companies, and people dipping their toe in the field by buying a camera and calling themselves a filmmaker. Hire someone with a strong sample and years of experience.

Do I really have a well formed vision of what I want, or is it a loose concept open to collaboration?
