Introduction: • Directed the progress of $12.3 M construction project with 5 prime contractors, multiple sites and engineering consultants to ensure a successful project from programming through construction completion. Created bid packages to contend with predicted construction cost escalations between 8% & 30% that proved to be correct. • Managed demanding $2.3M renovations to existing 30,000 SF retail building conversion to county administrative offices with a challenging schedule and a contractor with a problematic reputation to successful completion on time and under budget. • Met with department managers to determine the scope of work and phasing schedule required to renovate a former educational building into a more efficient not-for-profit agency headquarters.
