Kareem did a beautiful job. House looks wonderful. He and his crew were prompt, courteous, and hard working. I couldn't have asked for more. Excellent all the way around.

Hired on Thumbtack

First of all, I have to say that my husband and I knew that our deck was not going to be an easy project. But this job never should have been accepted by this person. They clearly didn't know what they were doing. Day one, they showed up in a "Taxi" with another worker and some sanding tools. Our deck is ruffly 700 square feet. We needed a green stain removed because of peeling in some areas. The workers were not professional. Some days, they showed up some days, not. Most days, it was 3 to 5 hours. We had 1 day, and that was a 10 hour workday. They finally went with a power washer to remove the green stain. They didn't have a power washer, so we let them borrow ours. There were quite a few mistakes done by one worker, who is the owners right-hand man. A part of our deck was not supposed to be stained as we had stained it last year. Well, it had to be stained AGAIN because of one of his mistakes. When he restained this part of our deck, he clearly put way too much on, and you can see in some of the pictures that after 2 days, it still did not dry. There are little pools of stain on the wood. We also have bleach stains on some of our furniture and on one of our doors. The cement padding had gotten stain on both cement pads from slobby work. Apparently, they tried to clean it off, but the morning I took these photos, the stains are still . These photos were taken the morning after they were done working at our home. What a Mess‼️ We have hired many people in the past for various reasons, and this was the worst experience we have ever had. Photos of our home were also taken and then shared on their social media without our permission. In the business world, this is a big NO NO.... Honestly, we did think about firing them, but we had given them some $$$ already!!! In the end we did not give the entire payment because of the mess!!! All these photo's are after they "Cleaned Up around the out home"

KJ's Home Handlers's reply
Kathleen, first, id like to apologize for your experience. Next I'll say this is not an accurate review and you just left a different higher review on yelp. First id like to say this is Slander. I do have a pressure washer and many other tools, I thought you were being kind by offering yours, after I had told you pressure washing isnt meant to remove stain, you needed stain remover. Secondly, it was stain remover that was on your chair. And thirdly you violated the terms of our contract when I had to foot the bill for your materials that you didn't pay for. I can appreciate a review about how mistakes were made but I will not tolerate slander and can easily file a summons with complaint as you've just stated openly you violated the terms of the agreement. Furthermore if what you say is accurate and day 1 I showed up in a taxi, to give you an estimate, because that's how contracting works, why would you hire us? Lastly I allowed your husband to take a ridiculous amount of the bill for a can of stain I could've easily provided to accommodate your chair. Furthermore in all of my agreements final payment is made upon homeowner satisfaction which was given even after you violated these terms and had such a bad experience. Lastly, good or bad, my work is my work. Whether it's me ory employee's. I don't need your permission to advertise it. And if it's as bad as you say it is noone will hire us anyways. Enjoy your day!! Let us know if there any other reparations I can offer you that I haven't already
