FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to communicate with clients in a real-world basis. Often they are offering too much for a simple job, sometime too little for more time and labor intensive jobs. I am not here to rip you off...let's talk about your needs. ie: Do you REALLY need multi cam when with a few adjustments a single cam will do, cutting your costs almost in half? I worked with a client who told me their budget was $350...and then they sent me hours and hours of material that took 7 days of editing...Communication goes a long way when you're putting out money to get a job done. Let's talk!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will talk on the phone first to get a clear understanding of their needs and requirements and to see if I can accommodate their request, then I will meet with them either at their location, my location or anywhere they deem comforatble.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 6 emmies for editing and producing and over 30 years post production experience. I have produced series and directed a number of reality and documentary shows. I work with talent and am open and aware of your concerns.
