Introduction: American European Hardwood Flooring is a hardwood flooring installation, repair, and refinishing company based in Austin that serves the San Antonio, Houston and Austin area. We've been in business for over 30 years and are family owned and operated to this day. Many of our flooring installers have been with us for over 10 years and have helped keep our company in good standing with all of our customers.
We service all hardwood flooring needs from work as simple as sanding and refinishing, to repairs and custom installations. We work closely with many Real Estate companies, contractors, and interior designers, as well as home owners throughout the area.

Tom is incredible!!! I can't speak highly enough about his work ethic, quality and knowledge. He refinished the hardwood floors of our 1948 bungalow that went through multiple additions. They were run down, scratched up and not taken care of through the years. Thanks to Tom and his magical abilities, our floors look better then we could have ever dreamed. His weaving of the boards in part of the damaged areas were flawless. He is absolutely a gem to work with. Thank you so much Tom for making our house our own!

I can't say enough about how great Tom is. Very professional, very prompt and most important to me, the quality of the work is outstanding. Our floor is 25 years old and a combination of red oak and white oak of varying lengths. It had some pretty bad gouges and the portions exposed to more sun had yellowed. Tom got the gouges out and the floor restored to its original beauty. We have a major remodel going on after smoke damage. The floor as pictured has 2 coats of polyurethane. We will cover the floors with heavy gauge cardboard while the room is being painted and Tom will come back and do 2 more coats of polyurethane. He is so good that he noticed the brass covers over the electric outlets were dull and asked to take them with him to polish them and install them when he comes back to do the last 2 coats of polyurethane. Four coats of polyurethane is unusual, but Tom thought it wood better protect from sun damage. It is a small up charge, but worth every penny if it better protects from sun. All in all his service was very reasonably priced. Hope to get another 25 years out of this floor. Thanks Tom!

I was very worried about having my floors redone, dust, fumes, etc. Tom came and give me a estimate and his knowledge and expertise put my mind at ease. He left our home as if he was never there except for the beautiful floors! I would recommend Tom without hesitation!

Our house had very dark hardwood floors that we couldn't stand since it showed everything and had to be cleaned daily. Tom contacted me right away and he came out and gave us an estimate that weekend on our options. He gave us his recommendations and we agreed on sanding our floors down and lightening the stain. We agreed on a start date and he was very flexible regarding start dates. Tom was always on time, honest, reliable and we felt comfortable leaving him alone in our house. The quality of his work is exceptional and our floor looks amazing. I would highly recommend Tom.
