Lorraine did Hair and Makeup for my bridal party and I for my wedding. She made the whole morning absolutely amazing. She is an absolute perfectionist and that is exactly what you want in a makeup and hair artist on one of the most amazing days of your life. Lorrain was my first trial, the reason I didn't hire her on the spot is because I wanted to try airbrushing and Lorraine told me that she didn't think it was the right look for a wedding, it sweats off very easily and doesn't last as long as regular makeup does. Needless to say I had a second trial with a women for my engagement party who promised to do airbrushing (my main reason for using her) she never brought the airbrusher and I had a horrendous experience. When my mom and mother in law wanted to have a trial with Lorraine, we tried airbrushing, I should have listened to her in the first place, it felt horrible on and looked incredibly fake. Lorraine spent the time with me so I could see the difference and know that I was making the right decision without ever second guessing the airbrushing. Lorraine made sure everyone in my bridal party looked perfect even the girls who didn't have anything done. If I had to do it all over again I would hire Lorraine again.

I was running late but Lorraine was professional and went above and beyond to make sure my makeup was exactly how I wanted it and by picking up my friend for me on her way to my home. . My mom and daughter also had makeup done. They were beautiful celebrating my fabulous 40. Don't be afraid to use Lorraine if you are a woman of color. She knows her stuff. My makeup stayed on all night without need for touch up. Ms. Lorraine is a sweet soul and I will definitely use her again.

These Prices are not etched in stone. Bride Make up only 200 Brides Maids MU 100 Minimum $350 Make Up Artistry Instruction Private & Semi Private Avail Range from $100-$350.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I constantly take training classes offered through my union IATSE, I learn from other amazing Make up & Hair artists, I am a good listener & learn from my clients, I learn at IMATS, and I am constantly enjoying trainings from various Cosmetic Companies!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a teen model. I was such a tomboy and uncomfortable being on that side of the camera. Working with photographers was a natural fit! They were very patient with me as I learned make up. But I was a natural. And before there were videos on make up, we had to create the desired look with no road map.
