Introduction: Since I was a high school student myself, I have had a passion for tutoring. This led me to volunteer as a GED instructor while I was still attending college at Columbia University. After receiving my master’s degree in teaching I started tutoring other students outside of my teacher career. Today I teach AP biology and regents biology in New York and I’m looking forward in helping other students achieve their full potential!

Claryliz tutored my son in AP Biology for a period of 3 months. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and on time for every session. She had excellent teaching skills and my son said she made the material easier to understand with her clear explanations. Ms.Peralta is the best tutor for AP Biology. I am one of her students. When I need help in class, she is able to help me understand the subjects I struggle in. She finds creative ways to explain concepts which helps me develop my study guides. She is always committed to AP Biology. She is the best!

Ms. Peralta has been a really great AP Biology teacher and whenever I tutor with her she has many different ways to help me understand the questions I have. She also doesn’t just gives you the right answer she lets you think first and if you’re still stuck on a problem then she will help you find the answer. I will contact the student with times he/she would like to meet. Then we will schedule our first tutoring session! :)

I graduated from Columbia University in the City of New York with a bachelor’s in Biology. I then moved on to graduate with a Master’s degree in teacher grades 7-12 in biology. And I currently hold my professional degree in teaching.
