This was, by far, the worst DJ I have ever seen!! The DJ was dressed in shorts for a FORMAL wedding. He arrived 5 minutes after the wedding started when he lied and said he was there 20 minutes before. The bride was waiting for about 3-5 minutes before he was able to figure how to use his OWN material so she could walk down the isle. He DID NOT have the music playing for when the bride and groom entered the reception. He didn't know how to use his own machines. He didn't know what music was needed to be played even though the bride had met with him before to discuss what music was needed for what dance. He was constantly bugging the bride and groom for information because he WAS NOT prepared whatsoever. Also, after he called to confirm that he HAD everything he needed to a week prior to the wedding, he set up the video camera (he was supposed to record the ceremony and the reception for an extra cost) which made us believe we were being video taped. But at the very end he FINALLY told the bride and groom the he DID NOT, I repeat, DID NOT have ONE cord to record the wedding. So therefore the bride and groom DID NOT get a video of their ONE BIG day. This was almost a month after the DJ got married himself. Needless to say here. This DJ is cheap, yes, but FAILED at his job 90%. He was not prepared, lied, and rude. You are better off to go with a more experienced DJ. Like one from a bar or a club or possibly go to a school and ask them what DJ they use for their school dances. I am a guest of the wedding and this was problems I noticed.

When I DJ I would like a phone call at least a week a head of time not the Thursday before the wedding to let me know if I'm still doing the weeding. Everytime that I would try to call her and get a hold of her she would always say something come up & I can't pay the remaining balance like she agree on when we first meet. I also left her numerous messages to call me about what was going on. There was multiple times that she scheduled to meet up with me and didn't call me to let me know that she was busy. She also was told when we meet that it would be an extra $50 for the videoing and karaoke but I didn't have everything and she still owes me $75 for the wedding. The $50 was taken off for the videoing and karaoke. The maid of honor had no reason to get in my face about it because it was between the bride,groom, and I.

Everything was set up when we arrived. The music was exactly what we wanted. Adam was the perfect blend of professional and warm and friendly. He played the music at a level that everyone could hear it but still hear each oyher as they talked. We ran a little behind during the reception and he adjusted everything seamlessly. I will recommend him to my friends and family. If you want someone who will work with you and give you any music you want, he's your guy. We asked all our guests to write a song request on their response cards. My fiance, now husband emailed them to him and he played them all. If you want a great DJ, hire Adam. His name, Customize DJ is exactly what you get. Music customized to your wedding. I give him 5 stars out of 5.

Customize DJ was at a party I threw last night, and was incredible! They brought everything, from lights to even a fog machine! They played every request, and they interacted with people at the party frequently. They were affordable and beyond professional, and I will definitely have them back for future parties I may have! Also, due to few people, they even helped us to clean up and load my car at the end of the night. Thank you, Customize DJ, my expectations were met and beyond!

I DJ mostly for birthday and weddings I like to go with the flow of the party or wedding and keep the music going all night.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I have reasonable price and I treat my customers with respect. I listen to the customer about the music that will be played at the party or wedding. I don't like to upset my customers in any way or form.
