RTS made my winter wonderland a reality! Excellent job on Govee light install and assembling my lawn ornaments. They answered all of my questions and were very helpful all around. They came out time scheduled and finished the job same day. I had an excellent experience.

I was in desperate need of new basement stairs, they were literally falling apart. And when I found RTS property services online he seemed very guenioun and so I set up an appointment. He came out the next day and gave me a very good estimate. I was so happy when the following day he showed up and got right to work. The stairs were finished the same day. And he even installed a hand rail. Now I'm safe to go down the stairs. I'm so happy and grateful.

Will not hire again. Extremely poor customer service. Got paid for project and did not complete 100%. When a job costs over 3K just for labor there is a certain expectation for job completion even if that means making 2 trips for 5 minutes each to get things done. General delays in any significant construction project is always expected and considered; and should not be an excuse to finish project 100% after 100% of payment was made.

Details: Sketches or a basic idea • Basement • Replace parts of existing structure • No load-bearing structures involved • 500 - 1,000 sq ft • Home

Rts Property Services's reply
This review is complete and utter nonsense. There were multiple issues with the project on the customer's end that caused numerous delays and cost my company money. First off, the clame that she paid over 3k for just labor is a blatant lie. I purchased all of the framework and support. She only purchased the tiles. I have my invoice to support this from Interior Suppply ($1700). This is because I recommended that she purchase them to eliminate any confusion on the astectics she was going for. Her electrician caused numerous issues. 1. He didn't move the electrical boxes like we requested a MONTH prior to arriving to do the project, so they were in the way right from the beginning. 2. When he did come to move them, it took 2 days to do so, which also delayed in our completion. 3. We had the entire bedroom drop ceiling completed, and he ruined 3 tiles by not properly cutting the holes for the lights. We installed new tiles in the areas he took them from to cover up his mistake. luckily, we had enough with the extra that she ordered. 4. The bathroom ceiling was completed, and the electrician requested us to remove select tiles and leave them out since he still wasn't done running wires and lights. The customer, Trisha, agreed to this being allowed. The tiles and filler pieces were cut PERFECT and went in with ease when we left the project 5/16/2024. I then get a call/text on 5/22/2024 that the electrician can not install 2 remaining tiles. I squeeze time into my very busy and full schedule to stop by today 5/31/2024 to install the reinstallation of the last 2 tiles the electrician could not install. It took about 1 minute to install. I'm not sure what the electricaians issue was. To be honest, maybe he just didn't want to do it. I started looking for the filler pieces I had already made to go against the wall to cover where the tiles are recessed due to their form. And they are nowhere to be found. I then ask the home owner if they have a utility knife I could use to cut new filler pieces. They didn't have one, and I didn't have one with me since I was under the impression. All I had to do was pop in a couple of pieces, and I would be done. I had multiple wasted trips to this project due to the lack of preparedness on the customer end. When I was first contacted about the project, they had a delay in funding from unexpected plumbing issues, which is fine. I get it. So we didn't plan on doing the project. Then, some time passes, and the project is a go. I drove an hour to get the deposit from her, and she didn't have it available. I didn't let that bother me. I made a trip out of it and visited my parents who live nearby. I finally get the deposit and get things on the schedule, and we do the job. Then the issues arrive from the electrical work, and everything has a delay or a push back of some kind. I go there today try to help out, and when I can't get the filler pieces made, I suggest maybe one of her other workers who is still on that project could cut them and pop them in. She then says if he can't, I have to come back and do it. I then express that I don't have a lot of free time on my schedule to do that and don't want her waiting for a month for me to return. She says that she will see if the other guy can do it. I told her I may have misunderstood her, but if they can't, I can, but it's going to be a while before I could come back to do that. Then I leave and on my way home for the night I get a notification for this bogus 1 star review. I simply do not understand what the issue is with me stating I don't have the time immediately to come back again. I am technically booked until August of this year but I would have still made time in a few weeks to come make this fillers and pop them in (a 5 minute task that any contractor/handyman with a utility knife can do). I have pictures of the project that will be adding to my Thumbtack profile to show how nice the project turned out.
