FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always trying new techniques to stay current both in digital photography and retouching. Through my continuing education, I am able to make huge panoramic prints by shooting a number of photographs and stitching them together. So far the largest I have done combines over 250 photographs into a single 4gigabyte file.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions. There is no way I can possible show all of the thousands of photographs I have taken over the years, but I can tell you about the specific photographs that might be related to your project and what I had to do to get good photographs for my clients.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
For every hour I spend behind the camera, I spend another hour or 2 sitting at a computer editing photographs. Digital photography allows me to capture much more than I could with conventional film but it also came with drawbacks. When I shot film, no one would ask to be thinner or taller or have people rearranges in a photograph. People were ok with power lines in the background (if they could not be avoided) or other small distractions that are now required to be removed to make a photograph acceptable.
