FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My photography packages are based on an hourly rate. I offer digital photos, prints, wall art, and albums. Custom and hourly packages are available. Every wedding is different, so I am flexible with finding a package that works for each client. I require a deposit to book your wedding date, and a signed contract. Travel fees may apply for weddings outside of Colorado. My contract lays out everything that you will receive with your wedding package (digital files, album, hours of photography) and the total cost, so you know exactly what you will be paying before you book me. If you have any questions on pricing please reach out to me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer is interested in hiring me as a photographer, I like to go over their plans for their wedding day, and what they need for their big day. Do you need a photographer all day? Or just for a few hours? Will this be an all day event or an elopement? Do you want a second photographer? Are you looking for an album or just digital photos? When you do decide to hire me, you sign a contract and put down a deposit to reserve your photography date. I like to talk to my clients about their timeline for the day, and any special photos they want to create. This helps the wedding day run smoothly and ensures that we will have adequate time for the all photos you want. I'll confirm everything with you one week before your wedding just in case there are any last minute changes. I'm with you all the way! Let me know if you need any help with your timeline for your wedding day, choosing locations, or anything else. You can text/email/call me as many times as you'd like. I often work with out-of-state couples, so even if we don't meet in person before your wedding day we can still talk on the phone, on zoom meetings, and email ahead of time to make sure everything is perfect for your wedding!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) and active member of the Professional Photographers of America. I have over 10 years of experience and have photographed more than 500 weddings. Continuing education and recertification every 3 years is required for me to maintain my certification. I attend online and in-person training seminars regularly to stay on top of my craft. There are always new things to learn and ideas to try. Technology is constantly changing and the possibilities are endless.
