ReFuze Guitar Theory

Introduction: While there are an unprecedented number of resources, books, and online websites devoted to guitar theory, the real gap that has been hard to bridge by most methods is finding a way to help students without a formal music education understand and appreciate the language of music. According to a recent BBC survey, 50 Million people in the world play the guitar. I look at my concept as an international introduction to the 21st century guitar. The method concentrates on scale structure and the fingering of the instrument rather than a particular song or style. I want to allow the musician to explore the instrument and let their own unique personality come out in the music. I do not want it to be a typical music book but rather to explain and set standards to the approach of the instrument as it exist today.
