How does your business stand out?

I feel that my work stands out above the rest because I try to get to know each client prior to the session. I make sure that our shoot fits their personality and style. I don't use common poses that everyone else uses. I am very critical of my work. I have to be satisfied with the quality because if I', not happy with the work, then my client won't be either.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Meeting new people and making them look amazing, even when they already do.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always reading up on and practicing new lighting techniques. I may hang onto a camera for many years that I like, but I am always open to new ideas.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got tired of hiring photographers when working with friends in the music industry. They would charge way too much from aspiring country artists that barely had enough money to pay rent, much less to pay for promotional and marketing material, like photographs.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common work that I do is Portrait and Model Portfolios. I work with Country music artists for promotional shots as well as album art.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am proud of 99% of the assignments I've had. I can't pick just one.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get to know your photographer a little before you start shooting together. Communication is key to a successful session. You can't expect miracles, but should expect professionalism.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I love what I do. I take great pride in my work. I feel horrible when I have a bad shoot for days to follow, but it happens. Not every click of the shutter is a prize winning photo. It takes years to get to the level I am at, not just a camera.
