Richard was extremely knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the job. it only took one day to do a job perfectly done. No one would have known that I had work done on the house that day. Completely clean after the job. He is definitely someone I will hire again. furthermore, Richard was so kind and understanding with my grandchildren around. He’s got five stars plus.

I tried to coordinate a job with this contractor. He was prompt to meet me at the property and to do a walk through. Work was about 9k to 10k, and we agreed on a budget. Then, I was promised a quote in writing several times. I asked for it email, and was told by the company that “Gmail doesn’t like me” and they had trouble using basic email functions to send a quote. This happened twice where quotes were promised and the deadlines were missed (I mean from mid may until July 9 - not just a couple days or a brief delay) They refused to take a deposit by credit card also. Insisted on cash. That’s a little sketchy to me. I really wanted this one to work out - I need the work done! But the contractor just said his “gut” told him to pass on the job. I never actually got to even see an estimate, yet was asked for a cash deposit of 50% of $9500. Just sharing my experience with this contractor.

we discussed payment terms only, never asked for a single penny. and when asked to meet and discuss project in person the person i spoke to said talk to joe in Indiana. their statement is libelous. never came to any contract terms whatsoever. we have every right to not take on a project where second and 3rd party entities from out of state offer to pay in the future via credit card . this is most likely a scam. my gut was right, in my opinion, they came to Thumbtack immediately to post a negative review for a project we never contracted or engaged in other than one discussion .
