Introduction: That Little Italian Kitchen has been built around the tradition of the Tortora/Maisano family. Therese and her husband, co-owner, Mike Schneider have taken the family's favorite recipes and pledged to use only the finest ingredients to preserve grandma's home cooked flavors.
That Little Italian Kitchen opened its doors in April of 2008 with the family favorites including; homemade stromboli and gnocchi, as well as, grandma's famous lasagna, Italian chicken and eggplant parmesan.
In 2009, after a family vacation to Italy, gelato (Italian ice cream) was added to our dessert menu. To give our customer the real Italian gelato experience, we import the key ingredients.
As our business grew into 2010, so did our kitchen space. We moved to a new location and began to cater bigger events such as the HOF balloon fest, Canton Charge and Cleveland Cavalier team feeds, and major corporate events.
Since 2010, we have gained access to the beautiful Canton Preservation Society for events serving guests up to 75. We are also willing to setup, serve, and tear down at any venue you may have access to. It is our pleasure to create a memorable experience for all life celebrations, big or small.
Whether it be dine in, carry-out, or catering, we hope that our commitment to quality food and service provides you with the enjoyment and understanding of what being a good old fashioned Italian is.
