- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard photography rate is $195 per hour. I keep pricing straightforward and discuss the scope, location, timing and final deliverables before the session so there are no surprises. Custom quotes are available for weddings, longer events and projects with special requirements.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a friendly consultation to learn what you are planning, the feeling you want the photographs to have and the moments that matter most. We confirm the date, location, schedule and expectations, then I guide you through the session in a relaxed, natural way. Afterward, I carefully select and edit the strongest images for delivery.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Photography from the Art Academy of Cincinnati in 1994. I have also taken graduate-level drawing courses and studied Art Education at Northern Kentucky University. More than 12 years of professional wedding and portrait photography have strengthened my technical skills, artistic eye and ability to work calmly in fast-moving situations.
