Nnamdi’s work continually questions the expectations of conventional film & photography. Often an immersive mixture of perspective & illusion, he is keen on wrapping his knowledge of light & technology into molding, shaking, and sometimes flipping how we experience the world. With precision rivaled only by the masters, Charles is often found on set playing with light like a round of billiards and mentally painting the composition before a single shutter capture. If the next frame isn’t telling a story or sharing a new angle of life, it isn’t taken. As a first-generation, Nigerian-American ambassador of vision, Nnamdi has experienced culture through various lenses simultaneously, which has driven his desire to subvert the mundane routine of traditional portraiture. As the founder of Nfinity Studios, his goal is to redefine the visual sandbox in which the world finds itself confined and likewise attempts to confine him.
