Goals
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I think the feedback I hear most pertaining to this is the level of care and passion I run my business and provide my clients with. Health and fitness is my lifeline, it runs through my veins and being able to have the ability to impact others through my passion is the most empowering feeling one could imagine. It's simple. Changing others lives and making them believe in themselves. The most rewarding aspect of my passion isn't how much weight or how many inches or how many trophies a client wins; it's how much different a client views themselves and conducts their daily life as they gain more confidence in their mental and physical through discovering the benefits of health and fitness.

Be sure to get everything in writing! During my initial meeting with Justin, we discuss that we would have progress updates on a regular basis (monthly). He took my initial measurements and we NEVER did any measurements after that. I was told that I would have certain days and times that would be my workout sessions. He text me two days before asking me to change the day and time to a day that would benefit him better. I text him back 15min later and told him that I would not be able to make it at the new time he was asking but gave him days that I was available to make it up. I never heard back from him and he did not show up for our training at our original agreed time. When I question him about it, I was told that I was a no show and he is keeping the money from the session and he WILL NOT reschedule! I forward him a screen shot of our text conversation which showed CLEARLY that I told him I could not be there at the new time he wanted and that there was not any feedback. As far as his training style, it is great as long as he is actually paying attention to you. He will train up to four people at the same time and it is very easy for you to get no attention at all. Instead he will give you a list of instruction for you to complete on your own and then walked away (which is something you can get from the internet) and pay attention and hold conversation with other clients he took the time to develop a relationship with. I don't expect a trainer to hold your hand, but I do expect them to at least stay there long enough to make sure I am doing it correctly and give me pointers.

As far as measurements I do my clients updates every 6 weeks. David's initial measurement day was 7/8/15 so his progress was supposed to be updated on a session that David no showed for. David's times were steady every week and I only asked that he would change them the past two weeks as my sister is due any day and I wanted to go to her doctors meetings with her which were on days we were scheduled. I was very flexible with David and presented many options! All of my clients received policies and when David was breaking policy in terms of not being on time his session would be no showed. Showing up is the easiest part of reaching goals! I have fantastic relationships with all my clients who are willing to put in the work towards reaching positive goals in their physique enhancement and everyday life; which is shown in my other reviews. Spreading my mission of how. Healthy lifestyle is a happy lifestyle is my number one priority and my clients all reap that benefit! Best of luck, David.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

A new customer will come in and meet with me to discuss their expectations from me as I will establish my expectations as well. The client and I will create short and long term goals that we will measure via various increments.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with clients ranging from 19 to 62 years old. Whatever diverse training knowledge and implementation a clients needs I will be able to provide through my many years of research and experience.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The harder you work the faster your results will come. Commit to the lifestyle, a trainer is only with you 2-4 hours per week; it's what you do outside of that time frame that allows you expedited results or diminishing returns.
